1. Nothing here is advice to you
Articles, research notes, whitepapers and event material on this site are published for general information. They are not financial, legal, tax or Shari'ah advice, and they do not take your circumstances into account. Do not act on anything published here without an engagement in which we have examined your specific position.
2. Accuracy
We take care that published material is accurate when written, but standards, regulations and market practice change. We do not undertake to update articles after publication, and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on them.
3. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this site belongs to Ihsaan Takaful and Financial Services or to the London International Academy for Excellence. You may read it, print it and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not republish it in bulk, sell it, or present it as your own work. Documents in the resource centre may carry their own licence terms; where they do, those terms take precedence.
4. Third-party material
Some photography is used under open licences and is credited in the site’s asset credits. Logos, trademarks and institution names belong to their respective owners and are used to describe appointments and affiliations factually.
5. Events and registration
Registering for an event through this site reserves a place subject to capacity. Where a fee applies, your place is confirmed on payment under the terms sent with your invoice. We may change a programme, speaker or venue where circumstances require it, and will tell registered delegates promptly if we do.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this site, submit material that is unlawful or misleading, or use automated tools to submit forms or harvest content. Forms are rate limited and abuse is logged.
7. Links
Where we link to another organisation’s site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zanzibar, Tanzania. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
